Nicholas "Nick" Luchko ('01, MS'03)

Nicholas "Nick" Luchko ('01, MS'03), president of the alumni association, keeps the original certificate from the Charles A. Mastronardi Service and Leadership Award on his desk at DeSales University as a constant reminder of the financial aid and sense of motivation that scholarship provided while he a student at Cabrini. It inspired him to pursue a career guiding students to develop their own leadership roles, evidenced by his current role as director of student engagement and leadership. Nick realized that he could help provide similar encouragement and financial aid to future Cabrini students by naming Cabrini University as a beneficiary of his life insurance policy. "I want others to know how deeply satisfying it feels to know they can impact students' lives with something as easy as filling out a life insurance form." Nick hopes his actions inspire many alumni to include Cabrini in their own estate plans.
